Wexham Court

Primary School

Preparing every child to become a successful individual in an ever evolving world

Nursery

Wexham Court Primary School will be offering a 15 hour and 30 hour provision from September 2024. As we transition into this change, we will retain the universal 15 hours offered alongside the 30 hours. If you have already been allocated a 15 hours place, you can now request 30 hours.

Admissions for Nursery places are applied directly through the school. Please see the Nursery Application Form below, which should be completed and handed to the school office.

On the form, please indicate whether you are applying for a 15 hour place (half day) or a 30 hour place (full day). All parents are entitled to 15 hours fully funded by the Department for Education.  Parents can also opt for 30 hours if they require a full day. For 30 hours please check to see if you are eligible for the extra hours to be fully funded.  If not, you can personally pay for the 30 hours. Please get in touch with the school office for further information.

Parents can check their eligibility by clicking here:

If this is approved, you will receive a code which you will need to add to the Nursery Application Form. To pay for the extra hours, please speak to a member of staff who will set you up on our school portal.

The deadline for a place in September is 31st August. However, we strongly advise you to do this by June 30th 2024. This enables you and your child to be part of the planned transition programme.

Allocation of places

The following criteria will be followed in the allocation of places:
  1. Children with educational, medical or social needs including Looked After Children (application on these grounds will have to be supported in writing by the relevant professional involved, such as a Social Worker or GP etc).
  2. Children with a brother or sister at the same school when the child is due to be admitted.
  3. Children who live closed to the school (a straight line on a map from the parental home to the school is used to calculate the distance).
Admission to Nursery does not guarantee a place at Wexham Court Primary School.

The Nursery Application form can be found below.
