Share a Story during Book Week

We had an amazing World Book Day and book week.  The theme of the week tied in with the theme for World Book Day, which was ‘Share a Story’.  There were treasure hunts, book world cup, tweets to authors and a book themed lunch hall.  Thank you so much to all the parents who came to share a story and read to the children, they all really loved it.  The costumes on World Book Day (staff and children!) were amazing!  Reading is so important for our children.  Not only does it stimulate their imagination and expand their understanding of the world, it helps to develop language, listening and writing skills as you will see below.
